i hate my dealer!
i walked into the acura service and parts department, and asked if they dealt with or was in partnership, or could just get me comptech parts. well pops (old guy behind the counter, that should be retired) gave me a short and simple, NO. then i said well could you install the comptech parts here, and all i get is that they only install genuine honda parts. so i politely walked out. from there i went to a local wheel and tire shop and asked what a spring install would cost me. $211.99 is what i'd have to pay for installation, he said. so i guess that is reasonable. to make a long story short, my dealer sucks ass.

hey ackinup,
dunno where exactly ur from, but $212 just for install on springs seems kinda high...i've run across install prices from $100-175...make sure ur not getting ripped

i know dealer ship always sucks..specially the fucking sale manager...but i do meet some good sales persons too...i hate to walk into the sales department....suckers

well i live montgomery, al, and the nearest dealer worth shit is a good 200 miles north in birmingham, but i have a friend up there that has a 98' NSX and when he asked about the comptech parts up there they said no too. so screw going up there. $212 is the lowest in town that i could find so far. but there is another wheel and tire shop that offered to do it for $150, but it's a shitty shop with no lifts or anything, and if i have to pay $75 more dollars to know that it's getting done right, then i'll pay it, i guess.
