a POS Chevy Malibu so you appreciate your Acura while it's getting a new transmission!

The service advisor at John Eagle said it shoudn't be more than a week or two for them to get the tranny swapped out.

I hope the new one lasts longer than 8k

 

My car just went to the shop today to have the tranny replaced. They said it could be a week or 2. They hooked me up with a 02 TLP

 

The Malibu is a POS. Agreed.

 

It's a 5 hour job, did they have to order the transmission? I dropped mine off at 7:30am and picked it up with the new trans installed and a 40 mile diagnostic road test at 5:00pm.

TWO WEEKS???????? I asked my dealer how long it would take to swap my tranny if it goes and he said a day or two.....at the most I LIKE MY DEALER!!!!!

I just took my wife's E46 328i in for routine (and covered) service along with a couple of small problems (intermitent failure of the sunroof switch and a broken (done by me) console door). They gave me an '02 Z3 3.0 which they are letting me keep for the weekend.

I did get an Integra one time from my Acura dealer, since then I always get the same story, 'sorry were out of loaners'. I'm getting the feeling they have only one loaner. The things that gets me is that they sate they supply loaners but never have them. Oh well, my car has been doing fine keeping me away from the dealer...
