I'm a first timer to the site, and am looking to get a spoiler for my brother's gold 01 CL. Before I go slinging threads on the black market, I wanted to find out your opinion on the matter.

Do I bother with used?
If so how much $ is reasonable?
and what are the chances of finding one on this site?

If new... OEM or knock off?

I'm not fortunate enough to own an Acura, so I'm not familiar with good sites. What site should I be looking at for a quality, cheap, new unpainted spoiler?

I'd check ebay for a "Acura CL spoiler". You'll probably be able to pick one up at a decent price there. You MIGHT get lucky here in the B/M but I honestly doubt it. Good luck.

I don't know what you're thinking, but the spoiler is the only thing that saves the rear end of the CL.

Its just like a set of nice jeans on a girl, her ass might look good with them on and you are excited to get them off, but once that happens you realize that her budunka dunk only looked nice cause of them jeans she was wearin.

Interesting. You want to toss in what happens to the tail end of the CL when you have "beer goggles?"

I think the tail end does not have to have an OEM spoiler. If I had thought about it, when I got my car's budunka dunk butt hit, I would have gotten a lip spoiler to replace the OEM one.

You're right, maybe it doesn't have to have the OEM spoiler, but it definitely needs something to hide that long 60 year old mom butt that it has.

i agree with RaviNJCLs. No spoiler > lip spoiler > OEM spoiler.

the lip spoiler could work if you lowered/removed the "A". The "A" is too close to the spoiler and it just looks funky.

Nah dude....I think your CL looks pimp even without beer goggles.

Now there are a few out there that you need some serious alcohol to appreciate it, and even then it's sometimes a stretch. Anyone remember the blue and white two-tone CL?

Ya, a debadged CL-S with Black limo tint and no spoiler is definitely pimp if you're rolling around the hood picking up hood rats. But that might just be my opinon since I have a regular job and don't stock shelves at a grocery store.

Maybe after I do the limo tint and no spoiler, I will toss some 20inch chrome rims on my car and cut my springs to lower it.
