I got a V1 to play with this weekend
I'm making a trip up to NYC this weekend. My co-worker graciouslly let me borrow his V1 for the 350 mile trip across PA and NJ
Anybody have tips/suggestions for using a V1? It's now 2:45pm EST. I'm leaving in one hour and 15mins (4pm). Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mount it straight and level with the road with a clear view to the front and rear. Used the logic modes depending on the area and signal noise around you. A is no filtering, small L is filtering but still showing the signals and big L is complete filtering unless is deems it a threat.

No matter what kind of protection you take, the best defense against not getting is ticket is NOT to speed! 
But since you're going to ignore my comment, a few suggestions...
1) Don't speed by yourself. The V1 won't protect you from instant on when you're all alone.
2) Any type of an alarm, SLOW down!!! Especially if it's Ka band or laser...
3) Driving too fast can be harzardous to your helth.
