I got into an Accident :(
Ok, so I'm with my friend after school in my brand new 03 Cl-S
... Im a lucky guy. Anyhow so I am at the light stopped waiting for the light to turn green. Behind me in my rear view mirror is an old Jeep Cherokee and I see it approaching, but I do not see the womans face... only her hand. Therefore she must of been looking for something in her center console. The next thing you know... bam hit right in the back at about 20 mph. The reason my parents allowed me to have this car is because of its safety, and man it sure held up! I didnt even feel the collision just a huge sound, and there was a car right in front of me, and my car just didnt move!

I'm sorry about your accident. I just got mine back from the bodyshop myself. But there's no way you were hit by a Cherokee at 20 mph and have that little damage on the trunk. You were bumped at 10 mph or less, the metal is barely folded. At that speed, there's no such thing as a "safe" or "unsafe" car. It's just a matter of how expensive the body work is right where it was hit.

I honestly, dont think it was like 5 mph, I was looking back in my rear view mirror, long before she hit me, and believe me she didnt just brake short... she didnt break at all!

Also, the picture looks better than it really is. The bumper overlaps the other trunk piece, and the trunk is pretty bad. I will need a new bumper and the trunk piece... as well as a new left light, since it is cracked. My dad is going to make sure that the insurance pays for genuine acura parts.. and I am going to get the work done at the Acura Dealer. I wonder how long it should take?
i'm sorry to hear that, its good that ur aight though, if that was me i would of beat the shit out of that bitch, aint no body gonna fuc w/ my ride.
ps, why did you choose the gold trim??

Nope, you didnt sound like a dick at all. It's not at the shop yet, still gotta wait for the insurance company to call. How long do you think it will be from when I bring it into the dealer until i get it back?
Sucks, but at least it doesn't look too "major" and there is no engine damage. I'm sure it will look great after the body shop gets through with it.
Man, people need to pay attention when they drive! That's why year after year everyone's rates keep creeping up in insurance!

First, that was way out of line... second of all... I never reported any speed to the insurance company. Also, I didnt receive any injuries.. before you jump to conclusions and think I will lie about a sore neck, why dont you think of how much of a dick you are.. and how you should leave this board.. we cuz we dont need people like you.
Sorry, ladies, but God Damn It! It said it before and I'll say it again...a woman driving a SUV is an accident waiting to happen. Make sure you give them plenty of room. They don't seem to have the damn judgement when driving a truck. When I mention this to my wife, she just flips me the bird. But I am right. Glad you weren't hurt. It's just a machine and can be fixed.
