I got the Acura CL bible

K so I took some of my b day money and bought the offical acura 3.2 cl service manual.

it has ever single schematic for pin-outs, and w/e the hell you need. just ask (PM me)

if there is something you need I will be more than happy to see if I can be of any assistance to any of you.

I've only read it for an hour and I already found out what/why my trans is acting up. It's amazing

How much was it? Are you learning things that you never knew before about the car?

in 2 hours I learn't all i need to know about my auto trans... how to fix it, what ohm rating my switches should be... the whole nine.

over 1000pages in total. it's over the top.. some of the exploded diagrams your need a pencil to follow where each thing goes... that's how detailed it is.

Yeah I got my manual awhile back. I'm planning on doing most if not all my own work on my car... unless it's something major.

Why not just use the PDF version I've posted? It's the same thing and it's free. Print out the pages you need when working on a job and it's searchable unlike the physical copy.

computers are reliable in the grand scheme of things. and many places don't have the net even nowadays with the net stick

I've yet to be anywhere with my car that I can't use my phone and even then, I have the manual loaded on my phone so I don't have to download it. There is nowhere on the planet that I can't use that. Like I said, the number of uses for the digital copy outweigh the reasons to have a physical copy in this day an age. I can print 10 copies of the manual for what you paid for your one copy and I can search it or print only what I need (and realistically 99% of that manual you'll never use unless you have a piece of shit car you should get rid of rather then fix).

Free > paid copy

The Helm's Manual is definitely a great source of information for your car. Did you know they also make an electrical manual for the CL-S?

When I picked up my CL-S, it was one of the first things I ordered to learn the ins-and-outs about the car. Too bad I just never had the time to mod it the way I wanted to. Ahhh well....

There are pros and cons to both sides. Personally I like having the physical book as well because it's easier to flip though pages than to have to scroll, zoom, etc on a phone. Probably easier to do on an eReader though. Some don't think it's right to download copyrighted material some do. And what if you don't have a smartphone. And if you're working on your car and don't have gloves, it would annoy me to have to go wash my hands everytime I wanted to use the phone to look through the book (i know, just get a set of gloves and that fixes that problem, but then you gotta keep taking your gloves on and off if you don't wanna get the book or the phone dirty). Either way, everyone works differently. To each their own.

All of your points, my points, OP points, doesn't make free > paid at all.

I got a service manual and its awesome, must have if you plan on working on your own car. Although I just did a service on my mom's car, printing out the instructions seem best for me. I could mess up the printouts without having to take my gloves off everytime I wanted to flip a page in the book.

never did understand why they call it the CL-P

just leave it as the CL... and the other CL-S.

and premium is SUPPOSED to be the pinnacle of that particular genre or category. So the fact the base CL is called the CL premium is kinda weird IMHO

Its simple marketing.

Call it Premium and people dont associate it with the base model, even though in reality it is the base model.

Exactly. Too much badge whoring in the states; that's what sells cars for a majority of ignorant consumers. Want proof? Go to Japan and a Honda Integra, Honda Legend, Nissan Skyline and many other cars sell just fine under their parent company branding.

Hi,

I'm trying to install the fog light to my acura 2003 CL stype. The foglight comes with the switch . The switch has 2 wire, 1 blue and 1 white. I need to bring this switch into inside the car (from the front). Could not find any easy way to do it.

Is there anything in your bible suggest a way to do this ?

I looked under the dash board on the driver side and found what seem to be a unused connector . I wonder if this unused connector is for ?

Your manual, does it have the electric wiring diagrams or documenting the electric connections ect of the acura 2003 CL ?

Thank you in advance.

regards,
Huy
