I drove my sister's new car yesterday!
Holy Shiznits! 4.6 secs 0-60, 12.39 1/4 mile. Unbelievable and it's an auto too!

She is VP of Marketing for a furniture retailer in Arizona. Her boss is an absolute car freak. She had a Porsche 2001 Carrera, he has an SL55 AMG and a bunch of others. Nice work if you can get it.

My 16 year old son drove it yesterday and he is still smiling.

Is that the new AMG SLK 55? I drove an older....2001? AMG SLK 55 convertible and it was awesome. Couldn't belive how firm and solid it was. That V8 is sweet too.

Is the new BMW 6-series going to compete against this one? Both of them are too big in my taste. I still prefer cars shorter than 190" long, better be in the 170"-180" range.

Awesome! The car I drove was actually a CLK55 AMG. I always get them confused. I think the one I drove was a mid-13 sec car. My 75 year old Dad could crack of 13s in it all day long. It was a pussycat. Very fast though. Could definitely feel it when you dropped the hammer.
