I don't understand....
Flame me if you want, but I don't understand a few posts around here people have put 5-10-15k into their CL and then "need" to sell it for something more practical? It's not directed to anyone person, but why go so far in debt on something you can't hold on to? You'll be deeper in debt when/if you can sell it.
You would be surprise how much money some folks have to spend. Maybe they aren't going into debt at all.
Think of it this way. I don't smoke or drink. So all that money that I would have spend on these evils I spend on my car instead.

I read some scary stat where the average american spends 1% more than they actually earn! Can you say credit cards?
So it doesn't take much of a financial shift for people to suddently be not able to afford their car loan or such, and need to abort out. Sad but true!
Well seeing how this post is DIRECTLY implied toward me, I guess you want some sort of response. I dont care about losing the money on the mods. It was a fun car to have and I enjoyed it. What else was I gonna spend the money on? My girlfriend, some clothes, waste it going out? I love my cars and I like to do things to them, its a hobby I have. So I lose some money on it, all those peoples faces and ears when they hear my stereo or watching the rice boys mouths drop to the floor when they see my car is well worth the money.

Davo, I'm not one who would spend money, especially not 15K on my car, but who cares what ppl like to do? Does it affect you? Does it benfit you any if these ppl behaved in a manner which you fin acceptable? Probably not. Everyone has their own cup of tea.
some people spend money on this game with little round balls and metal sticks...i think it's called golf.
and then some people spend money on things that have many wires sticking out of it and plugs into holes in the wall, with great big boxes that vibrate and another box with moving pictures...i think it's called a theater system or somethhing.
and then some people spend money on little sticks that light on fire that they put in their mouths...
and this yellowish/brown liquid with little bubbles (einstein invented the bubbles
)...etc. etc. etc.
bottom line is, people spend money on things that they enjoy. it's an investment...they invest money and they get satisfaction, it may not be in the form of more money, it may not be a long term investment, but it's their satisfaction and it's their choice.

And some people spend money on things that are grown and smoked.
In debt and maybe in jail?
Right now I'm not buying anything. I was drained from paying cash last year for the CL. I wanted to get a new PC... nope. I need to save. I do need a new pair of shoes though.

Yea, I dont know about the V-AFC. I dont like the idea of playing around with the computer and stuff, messing with all the settings. Most of the rest of my mods are simple bolt ons and such. I dont know if I really wanna get into messing with a VAFC and the engine settings, I think the Acura engineers know more about those ratios then I do, so for now Im not gonna get it...
