You'll never get away with 5% in chicago! I've had my 35% tint for a year and so far no problems with the cops...been very lucky though. I'm crossing my fingers.

I have 50% sides, 35% rear and I'm starting to wish I had just gotten 35% all around.

35% being the lowest legal in Md.

If you know an eye doctor..make him sign a paper that allows you to tint all the windows. If you cant do that, I suggest you dont tint the front.

Do 35% all the way around, its not that dark....if it was, I wouldn't have done it to every car I have had (almost every). You and the cops can see through the car perfectly, especially ok if you have a light interior.

20% is too dark, hard to see out at night....and you'll look like a punk bitch.

Anyway, good luck.

im not doin the windsheild, but i am going to do the passenger and drive sides...i dont think 35% on all the windows will be too bad, im not going to put any tint on the windsheild though. anyways...

im taking my car to Mid-america Tinting, they are off of higgins and roselle, they do great work, i have had my past 3 cars done by them, so they been around since 96. Lifetime warrenty..the whole 9.

Smart move, don't put tint on your windshield- the sides and rear window will give off the desired effect your looking for.

35% is not that dark. You can see out perfectly. I have 20% on my back windows and thats not hard to see out of at night either.

I had the same problem a few months ago when I went to tint my car. I watched every car on the road to see how tints looked. Anyway I went with the 20s and I dont regret it for anything. 35 was just to light at car level, if you looking at the car from far away it looks fine, but when you in the car or standing next to it - you can see right through. This is how I made the decision - The 35s are too light during the day and fine at night. The 20s are great during the day and a little dark at night, I can see fine though. If your worried about the cops go with the 35s, if you want the looks go with the 20s. By the way what color is your car?? That makes a big difference. Hope this helps and doesnt confuse you more.
