So i bought the 07 tl-s auto carbon fiber look knob and it's nice. but I cannot for the life of me get my type S shifter off.

I used 2 hands and REEEEFED on it and nothing... just end up slipping my hands!!

should I wrap something around the shifter and use channel locks to move it counter clockwise?

 

and I wont break anything by reefing the shit outta this thing either ..?

 

nevermind FALSE ALARM..

I wrapped the shifter in a towed and channel locked the shit out of it and it worked.

Type S shift knob anyone!!???

it's much smaller which I LIKE A LOT and it's not flat on top so when u hold it. it feels much more RIGHT
