Do you have an intake on it? If so, that's the vacuum of the engine making resonance though the aluminum piping combined with the cone air filter sucking in air. I had the same humming going on with the Weapon-R intake I installed... and then took off.

I ended up making a (gasp!) short ram using the Weapon-R foam cone air fliter (only quality part from the intake kit) and a 3" U-bend rubber tube and kept the stock flex plastic piping with air breather tube assembly. It feels way more responsive than the stock air box w/K&N and doesn't hum nearly as loud as with the aluminum piping. Just hear a sucking wispy kind of noise now from the air filter sucking in air.

everything is factory just change the air filter recently, I guess I just have to listen to other cl's to see if their car hums also like mine's do. It is like a low humming sound. Wish I could load it the your guys to hear it. The car drive fine. Just the sound is annoying as a muthafck.
