I want to remove the pinstripe on my trunk that is under the 3.2cls emblem. Anyone know a safe way to do it without ruining the paint or scatching it?

 

put some kind of heat to it (heat gun or hair dryer) and it should peal right off

 

hairdryer, heat gun, goo gone or rubbing alcohol, tweasers.

Go slow after you lift the corner... heat and pull slowly...

wash, clay bar, polish, wax..

Mind telling me how long the pin stripping has been on the car?

 

thanks smitty and fast, the pinstripe has been on for 3 yrs, its so small that i hope it will still come off

 

UH..I hope its not a Painted Pinstripe...cause if it is...none of the above will take it of.

 

razor blade..and then any kind of bug&tar remover or anything of that nature
