Looking at getting this fixed, what is a fair price?

If they can pull/take the dent out from within the wheel well, you shouldn't be too badly gouged. I'd say like 500-700 depending on whether it needs paint?

However... that panel, to the best of my knowledge, is a single piece that attaches the roof, a/b pillars, tail light, right and left rear quarter panels and requires cutting/welding/buffing/painting to fix. On a 98 accord, a slightly larger hit around the gas cap area was quoted for about 2500 CAD.

Do not take my word as the final word as I am just regurgitating what I have been told by two autobody shops in my area.

(please folks correct me if I am wrong, I love to learn )

So I called a place around here and sent the pics and they estimated about a grand.... sucks.... a lot. Anyone in Chicago know of a good body shop that can do this for $500??

Unfortunately when it comes to body work good and cheap are almost always mutually exclusive. Call around to more shops, but chances are you won't be finding a whole lot better.

Yeah, got $720 at a reputable shop. I think that's fair?

Well, my guess for 500-700 is due to the fact that we have lots of luxury-car accidents and excessive amounts of car accidents so there are like a billion shops and the prices are very competitive.
