How Much Will It Cost ME?????
New Spark Plugs (best kinds)
3x3 transmission fluid change
Throttle body and Idle Air Valve cleaned
All the timing belts and pumps checked
Can you guys give me an idea of how much it SHOULD reasonably cost for the above having it done at a local shop. And if there is something I can easily do myself - how much and how.
Keep in mind i'm not the most mechanically savvy but can follow directions ...
any links would be helpful and costs would be greatly appreciated.

you can do it all yourself. here some quick run downs
Plugs: Just go buy iridium plugs, the best would be lazer iridium from NGK, those are OE. Just a regular plug change for cars with DIS. remove coil pack, remove plug. Reverse. repeat for 6 plugs.
transmission drain: just change it like your changing the oil.
throttle body and IAV: just spray some carb cleaner in there i think. you can also remove these items from the car to clean too. for the IAV, i think theres a DIY somewhere around here but i find this maybe a bit tougher.
timing belt should be changed at 105k or 7 years as said in the manual. same for spark plugs. you can check the belts yourself by just looking and seeing if their cracked or frayed.

correction: Throttle body should be cleaned with Throttle body cleaner. DO NOT use carb cleaner. Carb cleaner seems to be a lot harsher then TB cleaner and will scrwe up some o-rings. I've seen it happen a couple times.

tranny's not exactly like changing your oil. There are two plugs on the tranny, a fill and a drain, drain is at the bottom, fill is on the side. You must jack your car up and get it level, on jack stands. Remove the drain plug, let the old fluid out, install drain plug, and remove fill plug. You fill it untill fluid starts coming out of the fill plug, thats when you know its full. Do some searching, everything that you need done has been done before on here with great detail.

Right on - thanks brothas
Hey anyone got a link to a post or elsewhere that tells me how to clean the TB and IAV? Also transmission fluids.
I'm learning these things. =)

So I'm changing my spark plugs and transmission fluids via 3x3 tomorrow.
For spark plugs, I just got the irridum NGK's, not the lasers because theres a 13$ price difference and from what I understand, there's not too much of a difference in performance/fuel.
For changing the fluids, do I need to keep the car level? As in get 4 ramps or 4 jacks?
