The Comptech is foam--I'm not exactly sure what the K&N is made out of. If you want to try and get together sometime on Sunday that would probably be good by me. I'll try and think of a good place where we can line up and do some runs.

Sunday me and NOVAWhiteTypeS plan to be working on an intake mod, so you're welcome to join us and bring that filter for me. The more people we have the better it will be, I think.
We're also probably gonna spray the exhaust pipes with some black spraypaint because supposedly they rust real easily or something (according to http://www.acura-cl.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/003922.html ) so if you want in on that too, you're welcome.

I'll fill you in more later.

I just got one from martelbros.com for $44.89 shipped. I took a couple pics comparing it to the stock filter, which I'll post in a couple days.

It's a lot less mess to paint the pipes by hand compared to spray painting. I gave mine two coats and it's holding up very well.
