if it was in the movie SPACE BALLS

the car could do ludacris speed

after wiping out twice and almost getting into major accidents i think this car is too fast for its overall engineering.

acura should have made the cl-s a RWD car

It's at least 100mph too fast. I ususally use Kodak dry photo spray on my seats, steering wheel, and gearshift just so I'll be able to "hold on". It's a problem getting out of the car at times.

I suggest you don't buy one because, if this keeps up, Acura will start discounting the ATX models and devalue the whole line.

faster is not the point

If you are only buying a 6 speed for faster times than don't. The car is for people who like to drive manuals... I'm sure you would not be happy.

i have a 2000 Civic Si right now, i love driving manuals.......my parents just got a acura TL....and got to drive it on a trip yesterday and loved how the comfort is....nice torque but not much pull on the top end, love the auto on the a/c... i just gotta say its not as fun to drive as my Si maybe its just because an auto so if i can get all the and a 6spd i think its gonna be one hell of a car.

i saw a 2003 CLS in the acura dealer that day...sticker price 31,8xx...too bad its not a 6spd.i asked the sales guy how much the 6spd was and he says its the same price, i dunno if he knew what he was talking about. i'm in FL any good dealers to get an Acura from?? my friend is also looking for a RSX base

I suggest you try a car buying service like expedia.com or autobytel.com. They will get bids from dealers for you. I got my '03 CL-S 6 spd for $29,530+ tax and title this way (in NC).

Car and Driver got 0-60 in 5.9sec vs 6.3 for the Auto. Check out this month issue for a comparison to the BMW 300ci.

Not exactly your question but...

I test drove the 2003 TL type S (AT obviously) and the
2003 CL Type S 6sp MT. To me, night and day difference,
however, I did not beat on the cars, so I have no idea how
they would perform at the higher RPMs.
