My dealer told me $130 for tranny flush.

Is that reasonable?

I only paid 40-bucks additional when they did the 15,000-mile service on my previous CL.

I honestly don’t know if they “flushed” it or not.
They may have just drained and re-filled it.

Not my problem now if she blows up or not.

There is no Power-Flush for CLS tranny..

Buy 9 Qrts of ATF and do 4 repetetive ATF drains, after each drive 5 mins and shift 1-5 and 5-1 and then to R...then D


You get a Trannt flush. A case of 12 Qrts should be less than $50.

At the advice of my service manager, bring up the fact that you notice that the transmission is shifting rough, that you have been reading about CL transmissions having to be replaced, and ask that the tranny flush be done under warranty. If they really care enough they will do that.

However, I remember that when I had my 30K service done, she told me that she flushed the tranny under warranty--because I reported that it had been shifting rough--and it took about $125.00 off the total maintenance package price.
