I have owed my car for like 8 months and i have honestly only seen about a hozen or soo cls , and that includes cl-s and cl-s. I think i may have seen more is300s the i actually have seen cls. I like it that way, knowing that there are a ton of them out there, and not seeing them . IT makes everyone look at my car and say, G-D DAMM Thats a NICE CAR!!!!

Agreed. Here in the Bay Area, I see at least a CL of some type or another every day. I average a couple of '01 CLs every week. These are new ones never before seen (by me ).

Can't even start to count. like at least 3 or 4 everyday. mostly silver. today I chased a white cls that was from north carolina. he thought i was nutz cuz i sped up weaving in and out of traffic to get to him. once i did get next to him he looked at me wierd and made a turn.

I swear all the CL's have disappeared since I got mine. Before I got mine I was usually seeing 4 or 5 a week during my commute. Now, I think I've seen 4 or 5 in the last three weeks.

On LI, I rarely see any. I've had mine 4+ months, I saw 3 within the 1st 2 weeks i had mine. since then I didn't see one until last week

 

I think I've seen more IS300s around here. I've had my CL-S since July and have only seen about 5 or 6 CLs and Type-Ss since. North Texas is Bimmer happy!

Just within the last few weeks I'm starting to see them every other day or so. The first 6 months I had my car, I probably saw 3 of them total!! I've seen less than 5 IS300's total around here.... I very rarely see one of those.

Hey... I like the clean look which is the reason why I didn't get the spoiler. So when you see "spoiler-less" CL-S driving around, bear in mind that others don't always share the same tastes as you. It's still the same car.

sorry gonna have to disagree w/ you on that one. our spoilers do NOT make it look ricey. it adds a touch of elegence and give it a sportier look to it to compliment he rear of the car. but if you put on some after market gtr or supra wing then it looks ricy. IMO

I disagree with your disagreement... The CL's spoiler looks (to me) like an aftermarket one.

I like the look of the spoiler.
This argument is exactly why the spoiler is an option.

BTW.....I see very few CL’s around the Lehigh Valley area. Probably (15) total since I got mine in June.
I like it though, that way I don’t have to look at myself in the mirror every day.

Personally I think that the car doesnt look all that great without the spoiler , but to each his own. i see both around here, but there was 1 red cl-s that i used to see everyday going to work that made me go to acura and get this car. He put some ugly ass rims on it but like i said, to each his own.

I purchased my CLS in Nashua, NH on
9/1/00. I've got 13,000 miles on it
to date commuting every day from NH to
Boston on Route 95. *** I have not seen one CLS *** since purchasing my car. I saw one CLP in Boston about two months ago. Interesting is all I can say!

hey mikeN, your right about bimmer happy, i work in the los colinas area, i think everyone and there mom owns one

 

I work in Las Colinas too (O'Connor and 114), and my parking garage is full of them! Don't get me wrong, they are sweet cars but overpriced in my opinion.

Spoilers:
I think the CL-S looks great with or without the spoiler, but more sporty with. I would like to get one but refuse to pay $800 (that includes tax and installation).
