not that it matters , but it's a CL-P if that is *any* consolation.

I DISAGREE!!!
If you live in New York city, and you see how people park in that place, you will very quickly understand the reason. In fact, you will see bumper stickers on a lot of cars in new york city.
when people park in new york, they touch each other's bumpers, its considered to be "normal" to bump a car in front or in the back when doing parallel parking. Almost every driver who parks in new york city knows what I am talking about !!!!
But yes, if you live in place like Taxes, you dont need it ....

Yes, I agree those thingies on the front and rear bumper make CL look ugly.
But in new york, bussy areas like Manhatan or something like that, when people do parallel parking they almost always bump each other. Its like normal. Just observe how people park in NYC, you will see that almost EVERY time you see someone doing parallel parking this person will give moderate bump in front or in the back bumper.
Cars like CLS have no place in the city, its gonna get millions of scratches in a matter of minutes !!!
btw, i live in NJ, and its not my car![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If I were to live in NYC, there is no way I would buy CLS
