how low can you go

just wanted to know if anyone else has 19's out there. I want to pick up my springs soon. I want to drop it with the eibachs. the comptechs don't look low enough for me. I'm not putting the ground controls on so no need even to suggest that. just want to know if I can expect alot of clearence problems with the 19's or if I'm gonna have to go with the comptechs and sit up a little higher

If you go with 19's and try and go lower than the comptechs you may have to make alot of wheel well modifications. I know of someone that already has 19's with 235 or 245/35/19's and they were rubbing. Maybe someone else here that has 19's can help with more accurate info...

blxmjx has 19" rims and eibach sportlines. I don't know if they rub or not.

blxmjx doesn't rub, but he has a huge offset. 51 or something like that.

Yeah, it depends on the wheels' offset. Somewhere around 50 should do it.

MiK3Y,

What wheels do you have on your CL and are you using 235/35/19s? You don't even rub with passengers and things in the trunk? I'd like to know because I'm thinking of getting SS7s in 19X8/+48 with 235/35s. I'm on Comptechs right now, but will probably go lower with the 19s. Thanks.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure +48 was a high enough offset for 19X8s without rubbing, maybe this should be put in the FAQ section.
