How do u install springs? Instructions from FAQ are not working

Me and my buddy are installing my springs and shocks tomorrow. I tried searching for instructions and the only ones I found lead to the acura tl instructions, which do not seem to work any longer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you use a spring compressor. Also the shock/spring assembly has to be aligned a certain way to all of the holes line up. On the fron you can put a mark on the mount where the alignment tab goes. In the rear you can do the same thing just mark wherer the eye of the shock is pointing.

Oops! Meant to say. Mark the stock positions before you disassemble them.

I hope you've done this before, it can be kinda dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

Ever have a suspension spring uncoil on you? It sucks.

go to www..com and go into the forum and look for do it yourself section. austin did a diy instructions for it. i recommend a air compressor though. it helped a lot when we did it and of course a spring compressor.

instructions for spring install:

1. get springs in mail

2. realize its a fucking pain in the ass to do yourself

3. realize you dont have all the tools needed for the job

4. go to dealership or speed shop and have them installed

its easier to install headers than springs, thats for sure. especially without good tools and a full lift (not just a jack and jack stands) which are basically a nessecity for spring install
