Honda oil filter

Honda oil filter

The honda dealer says this oil filter is for my cl-s. Part number 15400-plm-a02. is this correct? its the new smaller filter.

I would not use Honda filters, use Mobil-1 or Amsoil.

Yup, new filters are smaller. Honda is trying to make one filter fit their entire line-up, for both 4- and 6-cylinders. Cheaper for them.

Good compared to what? perhaps better than $3 Farm filter, but compared to Mobil 1 and Amsoil oil filters Honda filters suck! You should read some reviews.

no, there are independent reviews, do a search on this web site on oil filters.
