Stick with comptech. The only car this seems to work for and actually look and sound good on is the 3g TL.

Aren't the HKS cans really big? I like my Magnaflow exhaust. Comptech is overpriced.

Comptech is plenty sporty sounding without being fart-can annoying.

I was also thinking about an HKS exhaust for my car. There isn't any way to mount them to where they don't look so big?

Comtech FTW...it was designed specifically for our car, and sounds great, almost exotic...

I have 2.5" in/out magnaflow cat --> 2.5" piping --> 14" magnaflow resonator --> stock cans. At speed it's not that noticable but when you get on it or downshift you hear it.

I have CTs waiting in the garage to go on. Listening to the clips on youtube, I have to say its the best sounding exhaust for our car.

personally i prefer the tanabe exhaust because it sounds like the hks hi power i used to have on my 2000 celica, not ricer at all the the highway drone is kept to a min, but you can still hear it when you step on the gas, imo thats they way an exhaust system should be

^ I agree! I had magnaflows on my car long time ago. they sounds little deeper than oem. now, i have ct axleback on my car. they sounds a lot better than magnaflows. much deeper and add sporty sound. and looks better IMO. love it

I just got the Comptech Axleback's recently. I like them so far. I am thinking about getting the 14" resonator to replace the stock. I think it will improve the sound IMHO. It's pretty mild sounding at idle but sounds great while driving. Pretty nice deep tone. It only cost 50 bucks to install at a local import tuner. 40 minutes in and out.

My CL turns heads when I tromp on it. It's very subdued in cruise mode with just a hint of a tuned sound - you get on it and it makes itself known.

Headers / Test Pipe / Comptechs / Cold Air Intake - It's a healthy sounding car.
