Of course! As long as you change your oil every 3k then you'll be fine.

Heck ya!! If honda/acura didn't intend you to use it, they would have never built it into the engine

There is a story that I've heard a couple of times that is about an old woman in Germany who had a Porsche 911. She drove it in typically old woman fashion, and ended up bringing it to the factory about once a month (or every couple of months) complaining that it wasn't running properly. The mechanics, after diagnosing the problem the first time, cured it in the future by taking the car out on the autobahn for an hour or so, doing high speed runs and revving the hell out of the engine. Their doing so cleared up all of the buildup and contamination that had occurred from her not driving the car hard enough.

Drive it hard, that's what a type S is for

I'm no mechanic..but one mechanic/service tech told me at the Acura dealership that INTEGRAs should be revved hard once in a while...it won't hurt the engine if you rev it below redline. It will help clear the possible carbon deposits. I don't know about that one..but who buys an integra GS-R and never revs past 5000rpm??

I guess ACURA designed the CLS motor to be rev'ed all the way to 6200rpm for full peak HP. Why not utilise it?

I think you need to turn the radio down

I definitely rev it out coming out onto the highway. If I need to pass someone I can drop it into 4th, if I need to pass someone quickly there's always 3rd
