Hit&run + Question..
Right, so im walking in to pay for my gas and oogling the NEW NSX that was also getting gas when *SMASH* i look back and of course a mini van had backed into my front right fender...but hes speeding away....so i run to my car and fly after this guy (i didnt even pay for gas) and eventually get up behind him and honk like crazy (the nsx was following i guess to try to help me pull hit and run guy over) and he pulls over. so i jump out thinkin, who knows who this nut is, and its like some 60 year old man, and hes screaming "please dont call insurance", which is too cool with me because i dont have any anyways .....SO after i threaten him with the old "You just hit me and RAN" he agrees to fork over whatever...
SO now $1250 later my car is back to the factory look and here is the question...i know have a SQUEEK SQUEEK coming from my front right wheel well where he hit me but only after the body repair a week later did i hear the squeek. when i turn the wheel, get in or out of the car or basically any time the car rocks a squeek can be heard from that wheel well...Im thinkin maybe my bushings any ideas??
he couldnt have hit me THAT hard it was a tight gas station the major blow was takin by the front right fender.. thanks

This is just about as stomach churning as the "My buddy can steal stuff for you" thread a couple weeks ago.
I wish insurance was manditory in Wisconsin, I wouldn't have to worry about people like you.
Good luck with the squeek, did you check panel alignment?

You're saying that not having insurance is walking a tight rope and that the rest of us are all saints for having it. The truth is that not having insurance is IRRESPONSIBLE! Think about what would happen if God forbid you were to seriously damage someone. What do you say to them? Personally, I don't give a shit about your car. I just hope you don't end up hurting someone else.
My frustration is coming from being rear-ended by someone without insurance about 2 and a half years ago. My insurance got stuck fixing my car and I was out my deductable, which I may never see again. If it's that expensive, sell the car and stay off the road.
I'm not sure about the insurance laws in your state, but if the car is yours then you have to have insurance. If the car is your parents and you live in their household and are under their insurance, then you should be covered.
As for the noise, the only real way to know is to get someone to look at the car. It could be anything with the suspension. Is it when the car bounces up and down over a bump, or as the car is rolling on smooth road?

OK... First, you even put in the "Too Cool" smiley :ghey: after saying that you don't have insurance. That reason alone would cause all the ! I also don’t think insurance would cost any person who is able to obtain a driver’s license $15000!!! You can buy a car for that price!
Second, an ellipsis has THREE periods only! Oh, there is a space (should be two) after you use a period. When you use the letter “I” to speak of yourself, it is always capitalized. The word “don’t” has an apostrophe between the N and T. Squeak is spelt the way I just did, not “squeek”. “Thinkin” = ThinkinG...
You don't use any proper punctuation and I think you are a prime candidate for using Microsoft word for your post!
To think, all this coming from a guy who is horrible at grammar!

A quick story about not having insurance or just getting the minimum.
A couple weeks ago, my girl got hit by some chick with Safe Auto insurance coverage and in PA, the state minimum on property damage is 5,000.
The other chick is COMPLETELY at fault and they finally totaled my girls CL-S like 1 week ago and are cutting her a check for 17,900 for her 2002 CL-S with 88,000 miles.
Anyways, the chick at fault only had 10,000 in property coverage, so SAFE AUTO will cover the first 10,000.
On top of that, my girls rental car was another 1,500. So the total cost of the accident was approximately 19,400, now minus that from the 10,000 in coverage. Thats 9,400 leftover to pay. That doesn't magically disappear... The chick at fault is going to be taken to court by the insurance company and have LIENS put on all her things until she pays back the other 9,400.
NOT HAVING INSURANCE IS MORONIC.... Its just not worth it, and honestly if someone totaled my car and didn't have insurance, I swear they would get the ass whipping of a lifetime if myself or anyone else I know got hurt.

I don't know where you're getting a $15k/year insurance figure from, but if my insurance only costs $3.4k/year (as well as me being 18)...then ur "15,000 a year" figure sounds WAYYYY off
