hit 140

covered 282 miles in 3 hours...you do the math

hit 140 for 6 miles...the car pulled past the needle up to redline...got pics when i get back

i think the fact that i took the cold air part of my intake is what allowed me to get past the 132 mark where the car had stopped me before...i don't know if this is the reason but i've always notice me being able to gain higher top speeds with the CAI extenstion taken off. The fact that i had all 4 stock tires might of also contributed to it. I was amazed when i hit 140...the car was still PULLING!!!!!

hope everything stays up and running till then

And u drove 2 mins 30 sec at 140, you'r nuts mannnn..... What are u gona tell the cop if you he zapped you at 140mph with his lazer pointer.... "Oh yes...... I am road testing my car..., Sir, you should have been doing some 150mhp+ to keep up with me..... That is dangerous, and a public hazard, moreover this is not good for your health "

Ahhh...do you were driving with it on as ram air? I always thought the CAI part produced more power?

What are the benefits of CAI then?

Hey CLPower.. How do you do that ??? Whats the trick on hitting the acceleration pedal ? I have the same car as you, even same year ! I reached 220km.. which is just slight less than the top speed on the meter. But i guess i chickened out, and i decelerated. Were you running D3 ? or D4 all the way ?

Are you saying you drove 6 miles straight at 140!?!? If so, you are one crazy SOB.
