High(er) Boost Pulley

Anyone know where I could get a custom s/c shaft pulley made? I have the alternator HBP already. Also, will I need a different size belt or would I just have to tighten the 4040252 gatorback using the tensioner?

Just about any machining/fabricator could make one to your specs, but I dont think he himself would have any idea the correct size to boost your looking for.Could be a hard lesson learned if the pulley makes too much boost. But if you got money for custom made pullys your not really worried about engine damage.

Thanks. I'll check the site out. I do plan on running something to cool the incoming charge, and have an idea about the diameter of the pulley. Just needed to know where to go for it

I have a 3.3 inch on mine and it is hitting 9.6-9.98lbs of boost at WOT. You will have to run a Meth kit or intercooler if you want to go over 6lbs tho.

Nice!! Yeah I was looking at the AEM meth kit w/ the 5 gallon tank. Did you get your 3.3 from the guys above? You must be pushing some serious power. You get it dyno'd yet?

Yes that is where the pulley came from. The problem with the AEM kit, is you are going to have to take up a lot of trunk space with the tank. The alkycontrol system I went with converted my window washer reservoir to where the meth is held. Just waiting to buy the AEM F/IC and make an appointment for the dyno. You gotta pay to play, just waiting to save some more money up. Not to mention i have not drove the car in 4 months due to it not having insurance on it. There was no point paying for insurance if I was not going to drive it, so now I have to save up for some full coverage.

How often will you have to add solution to the tank though? (not sure how large it is) I know it varies depending on driving habits but that's one of the reasons I wanted to go with something bigger. Didn't want to refill everyday. I already have a sub in the trunk but would be getting Uncald's sub enclosure to mount it on the side which would free up space for the reservoir.
You definitely have to pay to play. This car is becoming a money trap lol but it's worth it. I held off an older model M5 the other day.
What boost level does your kit kick in at?
I'll check out the alky site, thanks!

Also, did you have to wait a while for the pulley or did they have it in stock? Any pointers on what I need to ask for specifically?
