High beam bulbs...need some help please..

OK I currently have the 03 headlights and they are cleared w/ no diffuser inside them. The little wedge style bulb in the lower corner is not connected and for my turn signals i have silvania silverstar bulbs. The silvanias have a blueish casing but they actually light up amber.

I'm looking to replace my high beam bulbs w/ nicer bulbs but don't know what to get. I think the style is 9005 but if I'm wrong then please correct me. I want bulbs that have a nice blueish casing so the headlight assy will look blue...most members know what I mean. However I don't want a really blueish light emitted from them...just something that goes w/ the HID's. And last but not least...I don't want some no-name garbadge bulbs that are gonna blow in 2 months.

What do I buy..I was thinking of going w/ silvanias but I don't know what they look like in the housing, like I said...I want the housing to appear blue. Anyone got any pics..

I believe those are Opti-Blue or something like that

I have PIAA 9005, but they aren't as blue as those. http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...k=yes&dept=351

Check out www.powerbulbs.com

Look for the Phillips Blue Vision.

I've ordered tens of bulbs from this place, free shipping, very high quality bulbs, good prices.

EDIT: http://www.powerbulbs.com/products/p...=pbv&type=9005
~$45 a pair. The perfect blue you are looking for.

I've gone for 2 complete years in these.

Eaglite 9005 100w $15.49/pr.

Lots of ATL & ACL members should be able to verify the bulbs as well.

There are lots of bulbs that'll give you the blueish effect but most of them aren't DOT/SAE approved. If you don't mind the cops hassling you, go for it. Otherwise, I recommend the PIAA extreme whites or the silverstars. I have the PIAAs. Although they don't come close to my HID headlights, they're legal. Plus, I don't use my highbeams that often, anyway.

The Sylvanias have a slight, very slight purpleish hue to them, and don't reflect back into the housing nearly as much as any of the blues that have been posted here. The look is very subtle, so there is absolutely no chance of harassment. And they are completely halogen in appearance - an improvement over the stock bulbs but nothing that's gonna light up the city ahead of you. I have had mine in for about 18 months and no problems. They do the job, but might not be as much as you are looking for.

I currently have no pics of the high beanms when on.

However from what i remember they do match up to the stock HID's really well.

Here's some shots of Scooter's CL with the exact same high beam bulbs:

(same car b/f he got vanity plate)
