hig flow cat

does anyone have a high flow cat on their cl...does it produce sufficient gains?

I haven't heard of anyone having one. Nobody has found one that is a bolt-on.

the cat converter on our cars flows just fine....it is not restricting unless you are making over 350 WPH. (wheel horse power)

i had one costum made and i notice the exhaust is louder... it smells now... but when the gears shift @ WOT i feel that it gives a nicer flow though the shift of the geers. it might just be in my head but i really did it b/c im supercharging the car b4 the summer and i figured i can get i nicer flow when i do that.

For bolt on mods, the cat is fine. You dont want to throw any codes especially with a lot of states doing only obdII scans these days. If you want one, Carsound makes awesome cats for f Body guys, they also do custom setups.

yo bigman, i have 01 ws6 trans am 6speed with ati twin intercooled supercharger. Makes over 500hp. I'll post pics of all the toys sometime this week.

i have a hi flow cat from random tech. i did not dyno. i wanted to replace my whole exhaust from headers to cat back. i think the cat was for an accord v6.

Fyud I did mine two years ago accord was the one that fit lost 10# of torque but ganed 15 hp oh spiro also did his same we took them off low end was terrible(good luck)

Spend your money elsewhere. High-flow cat is about the absolute last mod I could ever think of doing.
