hi! just purchased a 01 CL-S automatic myself just the other day
i want to blacken my headlights and needs a point in the right direction
also does anyone know if its illegal to drive without a front lisence plate showing??

 

Depends on what state you're in.

Out here in Cali it's illegal to not have a front license plate.

Welcome! your headlights can be painted, but it may be more trouble than its worth... Check Ebay to see if you can find a set of 03 headlights. If you want to paint them though, there are plenty of DIY for removing/painting/clearing the headlights. It's not too hard.
