Noobie here just bought an '06. I was curious about something. Does anyone else have a map pocket that opens when you close to the door? If you close the passenger door firmly, the map pocket opens one click...and that's without anything in it. Seems to me that if I had something heavy in it, it might go flying out. Is there any way to tighten it? Is this something the dealer will fix under warranty? The driver side door feels much more snug and always stays closed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Same things happen to me too. It only happened a couple times only on the passenger door but you really have to close the door hard and i yell at the people who close my doors hard

 

Those door pockets piss me off!!! I had to take out the little pocket (sunglass holder) for the passenger side becuase it rattles too much with my system. Its a POS

 

in my 04 they stay closed.

Actually, the door pocket should not open when you close a door. I don't know how to tighten it up, though; you should have the dealer look at it when you get a chance.

 

I had the same problem with my pass side pocket. so i took off the door panel and put a screw back there to permanently keep it shut. i never used it much anyway.

 

+1 lol same here, i always yell at people who slam my door

 

I have an '06 with the same exact problem. It always pops open. I guess people have a habit of slamming doors these dayz.....
