You should buy the 03 Six Speed. No problems with that tranny whatsoever. If you look around you'll definitely see that the people with Manuals have had (relatively) no problems with their transmission, making the 03 CLS MT a solid buy.

Anything else you're risking it on the infamous glass tranny.

If you're worried, get a 6-Speed.

If you can't afford/find one, keep your current.

6mt FTW. if not just stick with what you got. it's not that much of a difference. i remember someone on here couldn't find a 6speed so went with the accord. they are very similar cars.

The luck of the draw on the CL-S transmission. All you need to know is if you don't want to worry then get a 6 speed.

you don't have to get another accord. just keep the one you have. the cls does not have that much more power. but if you really want a cls auto, then like they said it's the luck of the draw. it could go out the first day or it could never go out. if you have the accord then just keep it and mod that thing. it's not worth the stress to get the cls unless it's the manual.

Or you could throw a CL-S Engine into it... I know I've seen that done somewhere... I think there's a member that's on the boards who has an Accord with our engine.

That'd be a nice addition to your current accord if it's not too much trouble. Check out Ebay or google it.

If you follow that option then you would have more aftermarket support (especially to make it cosmetically unique) instead of the smaller pool that we have to choose from.

Spending your time later with a blown tranny will make finding a 6 speed now a better option.

Yea the six speed is the way to go if u can find one. If u get a auto soon, u can still be covered under warranty w the dealership all depends on the mileage and the vin#, and the year model. Correct me if im wrong az peeps.

I wish I got the six speed. On my second transmission under warranty, luckily no problems yet and put over 50000 km on it.

well i own an auto, got a second tranny at 30,000 and the car is at 140,000. I think there will be a tranny problem soon, but tranny still holding up, like they say, the luck of the draw is wat it is with the glass tranny. Get the manual if not stick with the accord.
