The two pics below are just one of many examples where a "dashpc" will be useful. Either in the dash or a holographic display just beyond your windshield.

Because checking the weather before you leave (or turning on the radio) and using the GPS Navi system are too difficult?

The day a computer in the car will become anything more than a distraction is the day the car drives itself to your destination leaving you with nothing better to do than surf.

Traffic would be incredibly useful, though.

being able to use winamp in the car would be EXCELLENT! No need for CD's and no need for an EQ!

I think it would be better than trying to get the info off of the cellphone; safer.

I have been driving on several ocassions and would have found this up-to-the-minute weather info useful when trying to dodge rain clouds, hail storms, etc. Here in Kansas, there are a half dozen ways to go someplace (on the freeways) and choosing the right route could mean a downpour vs. dry.

That's a good point..I can see how it would be worth it when in certain areas of the world. I mean here in So. Cal, i can honestly say that I never have to really worry about the weather being too nasty to drive in. Although the traffic info would be great! Then again, 980 AM news is doing well for me already so...I guess
