Iam getting my windows tinted next week and was wondering what kind of tints are avaible. chaptorial i know you have a anch. cl-s with charcoal tint. Also where did u get yours done on long island. My tl is ancharcite as well.

 

also what would look the best on my car?

Whatever you decide on, get the same all-the-way-around. It looks much cleaner, IMHO.

 

I have 15% on my car looks great!. Not ghetto dark but classy dark. SInce your car has a darker intertior I would recommend 20& all the way around. Dont get anything above that because you'll wish you went darker. 20% on a dark car is the best!

 

LORENZO'S in the Bronx, I got mine there 35% all round 50%windshield, expensive but quality is great, tint to the top of the window!

 

cool thanks all good choices i am going with 35% all around, i did that on my maxima and it was perfect. the max was also black int. i dont really like the windows pitch black. cops are dicks in my town...

 

35% is a great choice for the sides when you live in a state that isn’t “tint friendly”, but I would definitely recommend going with 20% for the REAR window.

When you have a Ford Expedition behind you at night at a traffic light you will thank me.

On a 4-door I would never go different percentages on the front/rear SIDE windows, but side/rear is fine.
Check out my photos in my signature link. It really isn’t that noticeably different from the side and I think it’s a great combination.

vin I got mine done at Car Tunes in Farmingdale. I would not recommend these guys as they did a sub par job on my car. Most of the windows came out good however both my front windows have bubbles in them. There is a warranty and all that but I have a feeling I’m gonna end up going where Ralph's (CLASSYCLS) went to get his done and get it done right.

I went with 35% on the sides and 20% on the back. I think it looks great done with a staggered tint %. You don't really notice it but it blends nicely. Don't remember the name of the tint but its just dark no reflective mirror shine to it. Paid $200 for all 5 windows.

Go to the Tint Shop in Great Neck. Its my friend Joe's place 516-829-7336. His shop is in the Great Neck Car Wash on Northern Blvd just west of Community Drive. Tell him Darren sent you he'll take care of you. I have 20% all around and 50% on the windshield and the tint is Madico Onyx very durable and dark.

 

Thats the tint that I told u about Vin...call em up just like Darren said...get 35% Madico Onyx on the sides and 20% Madico Onyx on the rear windshield. That w/ the black chrome license plate frames and emblems====HOTNESS!!!!!!

the back window with the "dot matrix" yes its covering that too, about as well as it can be.

 

How about the door glass...do they go up tp the glass edge or stop a half an inch before the edge.

well iam going with 20% rear window and 35% all other windows.

 

Aww c'mon, go with charcoal 5 on back, 20 on sides. Thats what i have on my cypress green 97. Looks absolutly fabulous.

 

I have a spoiler.

I removed my rear seat, deck, and 3rd brake light so they could tint where the 3rd brake light is.

 

Excellent choice. That’s the best way to go.

He doesn't have to remove the rear seat cause the third brake light is on the top of the rear windshield on the 04TL...shits gonna look tight!!
