belive me i appreciate your efforts...already tried that .the old tl 2.5/3.2 was block like the RL ...the MDX/pilot has no badge ..at this point im almost thinking just wait till next year as it's almost a certainty the TL will get a 3.5

 

I dunno, one rumor says 3.4L for the new TL so don't count on a 3.5 badge from that just yet.



Two more ideas:

2.5TL badge plus 3.0CL badge. = 3.5CL in same font, yes?

2.5TL badge plus 2.3CL badge (use the 3 from that)?

 

I think the best idea so far is to debadge the whole trunk and go with a vanity license plate.

Dude your doing it all wrong, what you have to do is get the 3.5 from the RL and only put the Type S after it. I mean the CL is being discontinued next year anyways so who cares if it doesn't say CL. Leave the A C U R A where it is and for crying out loud no Integra Type R stickers.

 

why not do it with all acura letters whichever models font fits best. But do 3.5 CL-R with the R from the RL

or just 3.5 -R with nothing else, would be somewhat of a sleeper cause no one would have a clue what it is.

 

If i were in your position.. i won't bother about badging the trunk... but instead clear everything but the "A" and be a sleeper..if you really want ppl to know... i would just custom a plate with the stuff you have in mind:
35CLR
CL35
35CL
CLR
CLTYPER
SLEEPER

etc etc etc...

You know, the "typeR" is so ubiquitous, people will just assume you're another ricer instead of giving you additional respect. You want people to wonder what you have under the hood, instead of having to PROVE that you do have something.

I don't think there's a need to go custom...

The best solution, I think would be to put 3.5CL-S. It's subtle, and most people wouldn't notice at all, because they don't know shit, and that's fine.

If you're REALLY REALLY stuck on the "typeR", and won't let go, i'd have to say the only decent one would be "3.5 CL-R" in the same style as "CL-S", but for the LOVE OF GOD drop the "type".
Don't know if that "R" would match the font of the "S", but it should be kinda ok...


P.S. What the fuck is "hudge".

huge...large giant...i wasnt giving much if any though about using the TYPE from the R badge...i think you're right on the R itll cause more grief than props....id like 3.5 CL but need it to match...the RL as ive said doesnt come close.....3.5 typeS humm maybe...
