Help installing Hella Micro De Xenons with Factory fog switch

Ok. Im a little confused on the wiring setup for these. basically its got a relay with red.brown and 1 yellow wire. The brown wires all hook up to the negative on the battery terminal, The red connects to positive and the yellow i dont know what that goes to. I thought there needed to be more wires for the switch. What is the yellow wire for? The instructions that came with it are kinda crappy and arent written in english anyways. This kit actually came with bezels for a VW so its plug and play for VW. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh and this is the pinout i have for the factory switch, is this correct?

Pin 1 - Ground for green 'on' bulb
Pin 2 - Output (to whatever you're switching; relay, etc)
Pin 3 - Input (most likely a live wire)
Pin 4 - Power for light when exterior lights are on
Pin 5 - Connection to interior dimming switch

i just tapped into the cruise control switch for pin 4 and 5 (same pins on the cruise switch)

credit to TL forum for the pinouts

Yellow is going to be your switched power. Wire this into the parking light or any switched + source. Switched is when the key is on the power will flow.

Your lights should have came with a switch, It plugs into the harness for the lights. You use that switch wire & run it to the TL switch, cut the wires & then wire to the TL switch.

Nope only extra wire it came with that will splice is a yellow wire. All the others connect directly to the battery. This is a kit made by hella that is made for a vw. it comes with the shrouds and everything. the yellow wire splices into the factory fog wire in that car. The shop that is doing the install said that there going to have to add a few wires or something for the switch, unless i just want it tapped into the parking wire or something, which i dont.

Meaning get lights that are a full kit with the switch & not something that is a drop in replacement for another car. Those lights are made as a universal kit as well.
If a shop is doing the install they should be able to figure it out & make them work.

I got a full brand new kit for half what a standard kit would have cost with a switch. Its got everything i need. THe shop will just need to add a few wires. and i wouldnthave used the hella switch anyways, im using an oem switch.
