Help!!! Immobilizer light not lighting up and car not starting!!!

Ok, so I did the paperclip "jumper" earlier to reset my SRS light. Now my immobilizer light "green key" is not lighting up at all. The manual says that if it does not recognize the coding of the key, it will flash. It's not even doing that, NO light AT ALL.
CAR WILL NOT START! It acts as if I am trying to start it with the "door only" key.
What Do I need to look for ?
Might I have blown a fuse or soemthing when I was doing the "jump" on the SRS light ?

Please advise guys.

underneath steering column to the left a little, you'll see two yellow boxes with green wires going into them. Jumped on to the other, as directed by the Instruction to reset the SRS light.

OK, here's the info I went by, here's the link

http ://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid53/pfa22017a7d6b75c7bff6fc50dd09aee7/fc92a3e5.jpg.orig.jpg

It shows the connector on the backside of the drivers fuse box. Not sure if your car is different, I have a 2003 TL-S.

Anyway, I think I found the problem. After starting on my drivers side fuse panel,
Fuel Pump fuse is BLOWN. So hopefully this will solve my problem, will run out tommorrow morning and get a fuse for it and try again.

What gets me though is, I know the immobilizer system is supposed to cut off fuel delivery, so it does that by blowing the Fuel pump fuse ?
Maybe when I was "jumping" the SRS earlier, it blew it nevertheless, I will keep you all posted.

Chemmech, thanks for the attempt, points to you.

Andy

So does your car have this connector? Good luck . I think you should also check your coil fuse also if the car still doesn't start.

This connector doesn't have any terminals where it mounts to the fuse box, it's basically for diagnostics.

The Paper Clip Jumper, basically does this same exact thing, just without needing the "special tool" because the paper clip is the "special tool"

Checked, it's fine.

Still what also boggles my mind, is I wonder what the Fuel Pump fuse has to do with the immobilizer "greeN key" on the dash ?

Thanks Rob,

Ok, so, I went out and got a new fuse this morning, 15 amp, which is what the fuel pump fuse is, replaced, and
Car started fine, and the immobilizer light started working again. Very bizzare, but I think what may happen, is when the immobilizer is tripped, it blows the Fuel Pump fuse, therefore no one can steal the car, because it will not start. I think I made a interesting find

Chopper, glad you got your car started. Could you describe what you were trying to do when this happened? Links aren't working. Just seems odd for a system to deliberately blow a fuse...

check the fuses under the hood. I had this problem a while ago. I forgot what fuse it was but I'll check later on.

GOT IT!!.
It WAS a fuse under the hood. The #19 "ACG S", whatever the hell that is. Apparently if you somehow create a short in the scan tool connector, you could blow either the fuel pump fuse, ECU/PCM fuse, or this ACG S fuse under the hood. Not sure how their all connected but its good to know since a lot of guys diagnose their cars this way.

Funny I see this post. On friday my car kept blowing the AGC fuse - no Scan tool connected either. If I replace the fuse, it blows in 5s after keeping the key in the ON position. The HELMS says its either a faulty PGM-FI relay or the connector for the scan tool. I just towed it to the dealer... since the they put the new motor just 4 weeks ago. Maybe some wire was pinched?!?
