That was really cheap, good buy. I saw a savaged one sell for 9,000.

First of all please stick with black text. Its much easier to read.
Second, unless I'm mistaken, nobody makes a chip for the CL. Mods consist of Intake/Headers/Exhaust/Superchargers and the rare turbo. The cheapest HP mod you can do is probably an intake, but that won't get you a whole lot.

No chip, dude. Just like kwelling12 said... Do CAI and Header. Don't worry about the exhaust though unless you want to change the sound or you S/C it. Considering the cost, it's not worth it. You can also do Thermoblock spacers and pulleys. Oh, and don't forget to drop that 4X4 in the weeds with some springs or coilovers!

Good luck, post pics, nice purchase, and welcome to AZ!!

I wouldn't install the chip, I heard it really doesn't do much, maybe a couple of horsepower. Start with a cold air intake-good modification! Then get some headers, probably the most hp for the buck! Mostly all top end power though. Maybe a crank pulley and some thermoblock spacers. Exhuast doesn't really do much, just sound. Then work on the suspension, stock suspention sucks! Good luck with the mods!

I agree and disagree. Depends on how much you pay for it. I think my car ran a bit smoother and had better responce with the Unichip. I also got better gas mileage.

Now, will I pay full price for one, NO.

willieesco420: I would start with the CAI. If you can't afford the headers, then go with spacers and pulleys. Then maybe the Chip next. Exhaust is worthless IMO.

Alright boys......to go along with the question in this thread..........benefits for an APEXI' V-TECH CONTROLLER???? I know that you can set the VTECH to kick in at any RPM (damn, i would blow my check in gas!!!!), but is it really worth the money?
