Hello... thinking of buying a CL!

Whassup everyone!

Been a long time TL forum member, but now I'm thinking of getting a CL. The situation is this: my parents are thinking of buying a new car, but they want my car, since they can't find anything out there that they really like. So they'll take it off my hands and get me a car for comparable value. So out of all the cars out there, a CL is at teh top of my list. I think at my age, my baby TL was a little large. So that's why I'm leaning toward a 2 door...

I was wondering if any new/recent CL owners could tell me how deals are for CL's these days. When I bought my TL a year and a half ago, deals were impossible to come by cuz TL's were in such high demand. I only got $1000 off sticker! Even today, when I go to the dealership, I see much fewer TL's than CL's. Does that mean there are good deals available for the CL? If that's the case, then I may even be able to spring for the CL-S! schweet...

Any help appreciated!

well if you are going to get one get it now, its the best time to get a deal, the 2002's will be coming out you could probably get a good lease deal on one.

fantastic time to buy one. Dealers have tons on their lot and they are not hot sellers . A Cl-s without navi goes for around 28K and change + taxes. A Cl-p for around 25.5K plus taxes. SO I would say you could get an amazing deal.

i got my CL-S from Torrance Acura for $26,800. about $1350 below invoice. this was only about 3 weeks ago. you need to request an internet quote through edmunds.com to get that deal though. let me knowif you want more details on how to go about getting it.

These guys are right on the $, get a CL before the '02's come out! I drove by a dealership today and they had like 8 CL-S's in their lot. It seems as if CL's dont sell too well, so you can really negotiate a bargin at this point!

Monitor the Boards here: I posted a want ad for CL-S and found 2/3 to choose from. You can probably get a GREAT Deal on CL-S, with Low Miles if you stay tuned. Think ones for sale right now on the Black Market board.

Give it a Check see !

Good Look

hey man,

everyone on here is right about getting one know and not in the fall. If the rumor is true about the 6 speed then it is a reall really good time to buy now. If you are in a big city go to every dealer and see what prices you can get i have a friend that is a dealer and one acura in washington and he says he is trying to get rid of the 2001 he has. as for price I believe the TL and CL or about the same i am not sure i guess you could get maybe 2000 off if you try.

hope this helps,

GL and great choice
