How many miles were on your car when you bought it?

100k miles.
400 worth of.. maintenance
I got tired of staring at all the boxes so I went out and tried to get some of it installed. Threw the side motor mount in and some new lift supports for the hood so the damn thing will stop hitting me in the head Front motor mount currently has like half the bolts missing and I just rolled it in the garage for the night cause I ain't getting no where on it, got to that point where I'll probably just start breaking stuff lol.. Anyone got any tricks for the two lower bolts for the engine mount bracket?

I never realized how painful working on lowered cars is I'm used to crawling under my truck and working on it without even needing a jack.

I can imagine. Mine still stock height (sigh) so I can squeeze under there for quick things. Just did the side mount and of course used a jack and stands. (The gravel I have to lay on presented its own problems!)

I didn't use a jack for the side mount.

It's not a load mount so you shouldn't have to put a jack under the motor or anything to accomplish the install

I actually used a jack when I did my side mount cause the hole wasn't lining up exactly for the bolt to go through. Maybe it's cause my front mount was TOASTED

And damn CLSspeedx I would hate to work on cars in gravel! I was aggravated just cause I had to drive up onto 2x4's before I could even slide a jack under the car. How come you can't work on it in the street? HOA bishes?

Working on a truck is so much easier than working on a lowered car, I kept saying that last night when I was working on my 4Runner, telling my CL her time would come after I did some more work to the truck.

Nice find. The price isn't bad either but there is a lot of work to be done. But congrats either way on the pick up.
