It is supposed to be a high-low switch. Are you talking about a variable switch? I thought about it before though, and asked Acura. They said it wasn't possible. But, you never know.

i don;t know about the 03 automatics but for the 6 speeders it doesn't have a hi low switch... Its either on or off

The 6speeds have an on-off switch, the autos have a low-off-high switch. May be buy the auto's OBD2 cover, and plug your plugs into those switchs. You'll have to reach further to turn them on. lol

Yeah, us 6spders have it rough... I will sometimes shut mine off half way to work... by that time the car is warm enough....

Oh, and we don't have the console light either:

The things we have to do without in order to have 3 pedals

Yeah Im always like wtf my azz is on fire and end up shutting it off.. Its funny, in MN obiviously it gets very cold here and espically when you get in your car and you turn on your heated seats and your ass is on fire but the rest of your body is freezing from the cold at once.. Feeling the 2 extreams of temps all at once is like a bad tripp. So I thought I asked this question, but looks like everyone is just dealing with it and Im too lazy to venture out and try to retro fit this stuff on my cl.
Looks like the 03 6speed lost some stuff during the tranny change.

One other thing about the console..screw the light!!!
Its got cig adaptor, but no hole for the wires to come out of.. wtf. My bros 03 accord has the same/similar counsole but hes got hole on his to put wires through.. I guess I can just drill a hole but damn.

03CLSMT6, might be time to buy the Helms manual and see what the difference between the 6spd and auto is..

Must be a legitimate reason why we don't have the multi-stage butt warmers...

I've got a helms, but I've been too lazy to logk for it

Is there something blocking the position of the heated seat switches in the 6speed where the Auto's are located? I always wondered why they were in different positions.

Nope, in a 6mt there's nothing under the console trim where the auto heat switches are.
And I thought I read somewhere the 6mt seat heaters cycled from high to low after X time. So there was no need for a high/low button. I never use mine so I don't have experience with them.

not as painful as the automatic trannies that might be in your ride..
DId honda/acura fix the tranny issues in the new models?

These little problems are not major issue(heated seats, console light etc), i just like to mod things to my likings w/out too much labor.
