Heated Seats??

Has anyone noticed that on the driver side "heated seat" it heats both the bottom and the back of the seat but on the passenger side it only heats the bottom? Or is it possible that my passenger seat isn't working properly??

It's because of the SRS system in the passenger seat. No extra room for the heating element to run up the back of the seat.

It's great being the driver on those real cold nights!!!

Isnt the heated seats bad for the leather? The salesguy told me it would be best to not use the heated seats , otherwise the leather would crack.

You should have told him to 'F' Off!' If it was bad for the leather, I doubt every luxury car manufacturer would equip their car with it.

I've got a heated steering wheel (leather wrapped) and I use it almost every morning and its not showing any signs of cracks yet.

Thanks for the info guys. At least I know I'm not crazy now. The only reason I knew about is because I let my girl drive this weekend when I tipped a few to many back!!!!
I couldn't figure out if it was the beer or if the back of the seat really didn't heat up. haha
