one of my headlights is out... anyone know how long these things are supposed to last and if by any chance they're covered under warranty? i heard they're pretty costly to replace... it's an 01 and has 33k miles (i've only had it for about 5 weeks).

I think they are covered under warranrty but your warranty was 48 months, may be over. check the in-service date, that is when the warranty started. the first 01s were sold in early spring 2000, I think.

 

if your warranty is up look up i think his name is akinaboy on ebay he sells legit OEM HID stuff for really good prices

 

where can i find the inservice date?
