Headlight aim after lowering?

For those of you that have lowered your CL's with a Comptech drop; did you re-aim your headlights higher to compensate for the drop?

I didnt for a while and wondered why my headlights didnt seem as bright. Then it dawned on me

I aimed them a tad bit higher than they were with stock suspension. Lights up the road very nicely now but occasionally I get flashed by people because they are too bright. Oh well they can deal with it

I prefer them a tad higher than stock, lights up road signs and side of the road reflectors very brightly. almost eliminated the need for high beams. However, the other drivers dont prefer them where I prefer them

never noticed any change after h&r sports drop. man, if u point our headlights up at people they will burn their cornea out. it's like staring into the sun at noon. nasty stuff.

The first time I drove in the dark after getting the Comptech springs installed, all I had was two circles of light on the road about 15FT in front of the car.
The very next day is when I learned how to adjust the headlights because I could never have driven around like that.
Especially out in the woods here where spotting deer and other wildlife is essential for safe night driving.

Adjusted mine up a little. They are back at about stock level. I don't get flashed. And had no problems seeing at night on dark roads on my trip to NYC.

I think the pro kit sits about level compared to stock. Definitly have to re-aim with the Comptech rake.

I thought the Eibach sits lower? I know the front is dropped to 2.0. I think comptechs are somewhere around 1.7 or 1.5?? correct me if i'm wrong.

How low the car is shouldn't have much impact on the headlight position. THe comptech springs lower the front much more than the rear so the headlights end up pointing towards the ground and you need to raise them to see. You could slam the car to the ground and as long as it was at the same angle front to rear as stock the headlights would not need adjusting (at least not as much as when the angle of the car is changed).

Adjusted mine last night. Adjusted to the pre-lowering level. Much better now, just like before the lowering.

Looking down from the top behind each headlight assembly is an adjustment mechanism.
This looks like teeth or gears that are then rotated by using a phillips screwdriver when
turning the teeth with the phillips head. This is the adjustment for height. There is another adjustment mechanism for side to side. This is not necessary after lowering.
