How much does the exhaust sound change from adding headers-- I would like it to remain stock. ---

As long as you don't have headers that have a resonance problem (like some OBX headers have), then you hear a mooing type of sound at around 2500rpms. Think of the sound of someone blowing air over a tube ... Kindof like that.

Comptech headers shouldn't have this problem, and Stone headers don't either I don't think.

 

My stones rumbles (throaty) when I touch the throttle.

 

After i put the headers on, like stated above, the sound at Wide Open Throttle changed to a deeper tone. Sounded fairly stock though.

Someone who was hearing the CL for the first time wouldn't think "hey that sounds modded" however. IMO

 

i dont have em but its deeper and but not as extreme as exhaust or CAI

 

^ how would you be able to coment on the sound....

 

they dont really chnage the sound at all
