Headers RULE

Alright, I am now a member of the CT headers club!!!! Picked up the car last night from the dealer. They only put 2 miles on it test driving. I was pleased.

Started the car - got out to take a look at my new mod. Very nice. Very high quality. Tapped the throttle. Slightly different sound, but so slight that only you and I would notice. No one at a light is going to think anything of it, but I like it just the same. STEALTH

Pulled out on to the main road, and let traffic get a ways a ahead of me and just hammered it in 2nd gear. There is improved acceleration at the low end. Car has a bit more pull, but DAMN once you hit VTEC is it SWEEEEEEEET. There is a nice sound with the CAI as well.

I have only put about 20 miles on the car, but am looking to get out a bit this weekend. So far these ROCK. A bit expensive, but worth it.

I got mine from my dealer and they did the install. Paid a bit more, but full warranty and no b/s when I go in for service. Actually, the sales staff came out to look at the car with my mods. Sorry no pics yet.

I purchase my header for $1110 plus 195 install at Goodson Acura in Irving Tx. No questions asked at dealer and very happy with the responsiveness of the car. The service manager even asked me when I was planning to supercharge the car. They are very open about bolt on mods.

I get my car serviced there, the people at fountain acura here in Orlando suck donkey balls. So when I visit my parents who live in Bradenton, I get my car serviced. You think 160 miles is too far to drive for good service? LOL.

The headers are well worth it. I am going to sing that line like every other person on this site. The headers with the CAI totally change the car. Well worth it.

How substantial is the increase in the low-end acceleration?

not that much of a differnce in low end power, it there but not noticeable, the REAL differnce is when the vtec opens up

Thanks for the info darrinb. I'm planning to get them put on next time I do an upgrade. I'm also going to get the Comptech Sways and Springs. Not sure on the Konis yet. Does anyone know if there are any instructions to modify the setup to be able to adjust the rear konis without having to remove the rear seat? I sent Jens a PM but no response.
