I need your guys opinions...

Should I try to install the headers myself or just take it to Park Ave Acura...

I've installed an intake before but thats about it...I will have help from my friend whose intsalled exhaust manifolds before but on a ford and be advised by a mechanic...

I will also have access to all the necessary tools, because my mechanic said he would let me use his garage...

Does anyone have directions (w/ pics if possible) and what tools I'll need...

Or I could just take it to Park Ave Acura...has anyone talked to them about installing OBX headers....

I wouldnt chance it! That $250 or whatever they charge is owrht much more for piece of mind.

 

i installed the headers with the help of 4 other guys, it took us awhile, and we had fitting problems with the OBX....we were successful, but it took us awhile, and the fitment problems really sucked...its NOT an easy job by any means, and i cant even begin to imagine how anyone got the some of the stock bolts (on the cat, 02 sensor, etc) loose because we used a high powered impact wrench with a huge air compressor and it took awhile to get them to go...good luck doing it on your own, youll need it

hey unsure where do you get your work done? I'm in nassau too and looking to get the OBX headers but i'm worried about fitment so i don't think i will be installing them myself.
