comptech is ceramic coated??? what

 

im pretty sure they are, or some of them are

 

well mine sure as heck don't look coated by anything. Mind you I got them used so i dunno when they were made officially. And now they are hiding under mountains of DEI header wrap so I'm happy with the look either way

 

Ive never seen ceramic coated CT headers.

 

if they are coated it was probably done by the person who bought them after the fact.

Think I`m going to get some xs headers soon, is there anything I should do before putting them on??

 

header WRAP ;-) it's amazing and keeps the enine coool!.. cause when u add headers u are increasing the heat inside the engine bay. and the header wrap will make it so u have less heat generated than oem headers/downpipe

 

won`t that increase the risk of cracking?? and if the xs ones are thinner shouldn`t I already be worried about this

would getting the ceramic coated be better??

 

actually yea that's tru u would have to consider the fact they may crack. forgot about that

 

with the CT`s or comptechs its thicker so I wouldn`t have to worry as much but what are some other options and possible risks of the XS ones

dc is right along side with comptech. does one of the manifolds have a slight bend on one of the pipes?

lol they need a bend in them, since u got 6 speed. mine don't have the bend so that wouldn't be possible
