i recently got a set of headers, and purchased all the gaskets from acura, now when i tried fitting the apipe to cat gasket on the a pine it seems as if the gasket is too big for it, and the gaskets that fit on the apipe to header fits but is a lil too tight, does anyone know if the oem gaskets work with obx headers, or comptech? or do we need gaskets from the manifacture? thanks
i know comptech comes with 3 -2 1/4 inch gaskets are they to fit perfectly into the groves on the apipe? cus the obx has 2 different sizes..

No they do not.Comptech and OBX have specific downpipe to collector gaskets ,try to get the correct gaskets from the manufacturer of the header .Jens

There was no problem with the gaskets when I put on my OBX headers....they came with them.

 

i dont have the original gaskets, so will the oem ones work or not?
