head light out

When I turn on the head lights the lights power on for a couple of seconds and it looks like everything is going to go good until the driver side light just goes out. Is this a light bulb problem or a ballast problem? Should i just go ahead and throw the stock lights back in?

Likely the ballast. You would have to swap bulbs to be sure, left to right. If the passenger light with the driver's side bulb lights then it's not the bulbs.

Pure Genius, yet so simple!

CL-6 with your 1200+ post you should know the search engine is not the greatest. Why even bother wasting your time with your post.

Any chance to be a smartass I guess?

Oh yeah I went to SEARCH and typed in HEADLIGHT and the 2nd post is 'headlight flicking' and the 5th post is 'Ballast Question' not to mention all the other posts titled 'HEADLIGHT PROBLEM.'

What search engine are you using?

And it's not about being a 'smartass' it's about people being a lazyass.

No problem! Just that so many posts have been made about headlights that there is a wealth of knowledge already here. I went thru my own headlight issues and found it was the ballast.
